Punderson State Park is a winter wonderland. The last four years the sled dog races had been cancelled due to lack of snow- not so this year!!!! My sister, Jean and I headed out this morning for the park, an hour and a half drive for us. Dressed liked Mikey from "Christmas Story", we approached this event like we were headed for the arctic. We met up with photographer friends (also dressed for the North Pole). The day turned out to be gorgeous. The sun came out, skies blued and we found ourselves shedding layers. The sled dogs are beautiful animals, with wonderful expressive faces. As you will see here; they smile for the camera!!!!
